- Insect Screen – Choosing
Bronze mesh is the color of a bright penny when first woven. It will gradually patina to a dark brown. In an outdoor environment, this discoloration will become pronounced as soon as six months at the seashore and longer in drier conditions. This is the most popular insect screening that we sell.
Copper mesh is the least durable of our insect screens. It will gradually patina to a green verdigris.
Stainless steel insect screen is physically the strongest and most corrosion resistant with almost an unlimited life.
* Since the color of bronze and copper mesh are affected by the atmosphere, we try to package carefully to protect the color as much as possible but we still cannot guarantee a uniformed, brilliant polished finish when you receive it
